What is a rich snippet?
A rich snippet is a way to show a search result more efficiently — a brief summary of a page's content, structured with appropriate visual hierarchy.
As the chief designer for China's third largest search engine, I designed and redesigned over 100 web-based rich snippets, focusing on consistency across snippets and on creating design guidelines.
