What is Rich Snippet?

Rich Snippet is a way to show search result more efficiently. It is a brief summary of the content of a page that is structured with appropriate visual hierarchy.

As the chief designer for China's third largest search engine, I designed and redesigned over 100 web-based rich snippets, devoted to the consistency across different snippets, and creating design guidelines. I also worked for the mobile rich snippets. Here I am showing a brief outline of my design philosophy for the web-based rich snippets.
